Buying Discount Kitchenware

Anyone who loves to cook needs kitchenware. I should restate that, anyone who loves to cook loves and wants kitchenware. According to Wikipedia Kitchenware is "utensils, appliances, dishes, cookware, and so on for use in the kitchen". To me kitchenware is better than jewelry. Yes, jewelry. I can spend hours looking in kitchen stores, catalogs and online. A lot of my friends think I'm absolutely nuts, but that's OK. It's nice to be able to get excited about a new stainless steel wire whisk or a French baking dish.

Whenever I see a new gadget that catches my eye I make a note of it. If I've seen it in a catalog or in a nearby store I then see if I can find this gadget discounted online. Discount kitchenware is what I always look for. One of my favorite discount kitchenware finds was my flatware. It's Henckels Earl Flatware Set. The first time I saw this was actually when my husband and I rented a condo in Telluride. I fell in love with this flatware. I found this flatware discounted at $80. I also saw it priced for $93 and $90. A great buy. I've also seen some great discount kitchenware prices on Farberware and Hoffritz cookware sets.

I like to stick with manufacturers that I know. My favorite kitchenware is my set of Le Creuset cookware that was given to me fifteen years ago. Believe me, I was amazed when I saw it. It is a 7 piece set. I saw a Le Creuset 5 qt covered oval French (Dutch) oven on sale for $168. This is almost half price.

I always shop for discount kitchenware. I love new things like ladles and skimmers and slotted spoons and large serving forks. If you're looking for kitchen cutlery you can find fabulous discounts. I've gotten some Oneida cutlery for the kitchen. How about a Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker? I've got one and it really makes my life easy. One of my recent buys is a Hamilton Beach Food Processor. I had worn my old one out, and it was time for a new one. This cost me $60. A real discount kitchenware deal!

Another thing I can never get enough of is bake ware. I love to bake. Again, people think I'm nuts. I baked my mother a three layer white chocolate cake with homemade chocolate frosting. I loved every minute of it! Last year I found a KitchenAid stand mixer on sale. I have to admit that I bought it right away. It wasn't the color I would have wanted, but the price was right. I no longer have to use my hand mixer unless I want to.
